For over a century, Fort Ticonderoga has been recognized for its extensive and encyclopedic collection of historic weapons. A staple of the museum’s exhibitions for the past 80+ years has been its displays of weapons of the colonial wars and Revolution. In recent years significant additions have been made to the collection through strategic acquisition and major donation.

Largely a reconstruction, it was built on original foundations in the 1920s-1930s.
