At the Oldenburger Wallmuseum the visitors can discover three thematic parts:
The first part is a typical Ostholstein tenant farm with historical buildings of the 18th century which have been taken down in the surrounding area and were reconstructed on this ground.

The second part is the Slavonic period in the 10th century. In the exhibition there could be found everything about the migration routes, the history, trade and distribution and the exhibits from the wall itself. In case of a living museum, we have constructed a Slavonic village and a Slavonic temple. According to our museum we have a monument: the Oldenburger Wall. It could also be named as Slavonic ring fort. This wall was built up by the slaves for defence. Within this wall the slaves have originally lived.

The third part is the St. Johannis Toten- und Schützengilde from 1192. This is the oldest guild in Germany.

They also have a restaurant and café where the visitors can take a little break. After that you can relax and enjoy our rose garden and take a look in the historical bakery with a stone oven.
