I am a Public Archaeologist and PhD researcher out of University of York. I specialize in the representation of marginalized cultures.

My current research project is on the development of alternative and renewable archaeo/heritage tourism attractions. I am largely interested in examining open-air museums (mainly living history) and their potential. I have been researching aspects of living history and public archaeology since 2009. I was one of the members at University of Glasgow who organized to protect the department from cuts in 2010, forming an outreach group (Love Archaeology) which created experiential archaeology and showcase events, and produced 3 online magazines. Love Archaeology helped to save the department, and is a major reason that the EAA2015 was held in Glasgow.
