Call for new EU Cooperation projects on Culture
The call for proposals for European Cooperation Projects is published. It deals with three categories – small-scale cooperation projects, large-scale cooperation projects and projects related to the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage. A small-scale project would have for example five partners and a total budget of 330,000 EUR. The own invest is 133,000 EUR or roughly 26,660 EUR per partner over a period of maximum four years = 6,665 EUR per partner per year.

Conference Season
Recently there were annual meetings of experimental archaeologists in for example Norway and Germany. We will review these in the EXARC Journal. There are however a lot more experimental archaeology conferences around the world, some of them co-organised by EXARC or EXARC members.

Although we issued this year's invoices for the EXARC contribution fees in January, there are still several members who have not paid their dues yet. We will contact each of you personally. If you have not paid yet by the time the second EXARC Journal is published, please understand that we will not send you your personal copy until we have received your payment.

EAA Session on Experimental Archaeology
The European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) hosts its next annual conference in Barcelona, 5-8 September, 2018. EXARC is looking for two co-organisers for a session on experimental archaeology. Deadline for submission is 10 November.
